So I was sick as a dog yesterday but went to school anyway.
My throat was killing me, my head has never hurt worse, and I had a fever.
But everybody was super duper sweet and gave me sweaters for pillows <3
I dunno about tomorrow.
I'll probably be at school.

Yesterday: boring. Watched House of Sand and Fog with my mom and Lauren last night.
Very good movie! Made me cry.
Today: boring. Didn't sleep much last night, so I felt all shitty and semi-sick-ish which wasn't too fun. Band concert tonight. You know you're a band dork when your boyfriend can't go to your band concert because he has one the same night.
I'm getting a really sore throat and nasty cough.
That's too uncool.

Friday night: went to Graham's party. There were lots of people and a mandolin, so I had a good time.
Saturday: Cleaned the garage, found mice, Carter came over. I teased Carter a lot --sorry-- and I guess that was pretty mean. But then we made spaghetti and I went on another psychotic obsessive sort of kitchen cleaning binge. I've been so "domestic" lately. You know, cooking, cleaning, packing lunches. That sort of stuff. But hey, who else around here is going to do that?
I went out last night around 1am and picked some flowers for my mom. A bunch of purple and white irises. I baked a cake this morning too. It's vanilla with butter cream frosting and fresh strawberries cut like hearts.

Today went by sleepily again, but now it's all good.
I made Graham a birthday card out of clay. It looks like a plate.

I need to find a hilariously ugly picture and print it on this photo printing paper stuff that came with our new printer. That'll give me something to do. If anybody has any pictures that make you want to throw up, please let me know. It'll be an additional present for Graham.

I woke up this morning and realized I was supposed to have a field trip.
It threw my entire day off.
Maybe I'll get lucky tonight and sleep well. Lately I've been having mean ol' sleeping problems and such. I can fall asleep okay, but I can't stay asleep for much longer than a few hours at a time. Summer's sooooo soon though, so that should make things a million billion times better.
Last night I had LYB rehearsal, but almost nobody showed up. Leon decided that since we only had like.. three flutes and a trumpet or two who showed up, that we didn't have to have rehearsal. So Amanda took Leah, Carter, and I to Graeters. Then I went over to Carter's house, and I tried to fall asleep, but he wouldn't really let me.

Nothing exciting happened today at all.
Ben finally gave me back Fabulous Muscles, and that made me glad.
I finished the whole stupid writing portfolio thing just now. I'm so glad that it's over with. There are still finals coming up, but I won't stress. I've never stressed about finals... or any tests at all for that matter. School should just end now. But hey, it's cool.
I've got LYB tonight, and that makes me glad too, 'cause I get to see Carter. I want to go over to his house early so we can chill beforehand and all.
Anywho, Evan got me a really good book for my birthday yesterday.. even though my birthday was in November. I've read almost all of it today, and I love it. I think I want to read it again now.

Ironically, just as I was typing up yesterday's entry, my mom (not to my knowledge at the time) was at Best Buy buying a new computer. I got it all set up last night. So that's nice and chill. The keyboard's really pretty. So nothing new is going on really. Just up to the same old stuff...!
I'll blab about my weekend then..
Thursday night -- exploding lemons at Tyler Park
Friday -- walking around, checking out that Barnstable Brown party, running the rain like mad with Carter, Gretchen, and Nathan. It was THE sketch.
Saturday -- Our kickass Derby party. Lots of my mom and Ron's friends came, then Carter, Ben, Simon L., Deanna, Elsbeth, Beth, Whitney, and Jacek came over. That was chill. I didn't win anything though. Then I went over to Carter's house and we fell asleep for a while.
Sunday -- Went to the zoo with my mom, Lauren, and my mom's friend Lori.
Boring.. that's all.

I promise that I'm still alive... really... I am!
However, my computer isn't. It's been pooped out for eh... a long long time now.
We might be getting a new one someday soon, but until then I'll be chillin' at the public library for a little while every now and then.
And hey, Colby! Thanks for calling a while ago -- I appreciated it! Your letter will be on it's way very soon! I promise!

Back to school... agh. I wasn't ready for it like I thought I was.
So I went over to Carter's house yesterday and we hung out, watched a movie, did laundry, and hooboy! I even ironed a shirt for him. His mom made a really yummy dinner, then we had chocolate torte (I think?) for dessert. Yummm... We were supposed to go buy Lauren a goldfish, because Carter promised her a goldfish. However, he was feeling too lazy. Next time... next time we shall buy a goldfish, which Lauren wants to name "Tyrone." He'll be a true thug goldfish.
I finally have my bicycle back and I want to ride it.
... I have nowhere to ride it to though...!! Any ideas?
Anybody want a visit from me?

Slept in late, took a nice shower, had a good talk with Becca, and now I'm chillin'.
I'm babysitting tonight at about 5:30. Does anybody know how long baby showers last? I was fretting about having to babysit on the last night of spring break, but I guess I'm over it now. I'm probably the only person who thinks this, but I'm glad spring break is almost over. Think of it this way if you have to-- the sooner spring break ends, the sooner it will be summer vacation! Only six more weeks.
My mommy and Lauren are planting those pretty pink blossoming cherry trees in the back yard. <3!

I couldn't get to sleep last night because I was worried about stuff, so I stayed up until 2:00 cleaning my closets and getting everything out from under my bed. If you think about it, it's almost metaphorical. But symbolism sucks, so fuck that. I woke up and finished cleaning my room. I never clean or organize, but today I did, and I enjoyed it. I found it oddly relaxing. I even organized, filed, and labeled every bit of sheet music I've ever had.
It doesn't seem like there's much spite towards me anymore. Let me know if there is.
Sprite is yummy, but spite is shit.
Julia's coming to kidnap Lauren and I in a little bit. We're going to eat dinner with her and her family. Probably chinese food. Woohoo! Oh, and Simon has two twin plants named Caitlin and Lauren.

I managed to escape from the monotonous, repetitive, and mind numbing routine of chillin' at Simon's house when Emma kidnapped me. Woohoo! We went to Target, her mom painted my nails bright orange, and we sat around hangin' out. I love Emma <3! Carter came over later and we watched Breakfast at Tiffany's. He said he liked it, but I think it was too chick-flick-ish for him. I'm not sure what I should be up to today. We'll see.
